I’m going to Haiti with 32 SMU college students through a college ministry with my church, Watermark Community Church this Sunday. We’ll be partnering with Mission of Hope Haiti (MOH), an evangelical holistic ministry that has been operating in Haiti for over 40 years.
Visit their site, http://www.mohhaiti.org/, for more information.
The MOH complex sits on 76 acres of land and employs over 150 Haitians. Approximately 1,300 children are enrolled in the School of Hope, the Hope House Orphanage is home to almost 60 children, Hope Clinic sees hundreds of patients every week and over 1000 adults, youth and children come from surrounding villages to attend the Church of Hope.
This trip will focus on serving with Mission of Hope on and off site with various projects ranging from construction, to food distribution, to orphan care, to evangelism.
Here is the link to the blog if you want updates during our time in Haiti - it goes live tomorrow!

Happy 10 Year Anniversary Erin!
My "BFF" at work, and for those of you who are out of the loop - that stands for Best Friend Forever, Erin, just celebrated her 10 Year Anniversary at Fossil. Her boss Diane (who incidentally hired me straight out of UT and was my boss for several years at Fossil as well), asked me to make a fun arrangement to celebrate her "service" at the company. Voila! The true colors in the photo above show how happy it is.
