Happy Valentine's Day to all the cheesy love birds

My roommate Kelly may have the most romantic boyfriend....ever. Her boyfriend Ramsey was kind enough to give me an experiment in PINK when he asked me to make a Valentine's Day arrangement for her. As you may have guessed, PINK is Kelly's favorite color.

I added shades of purple to create more dimension, and what turned out was an asymmetrical arrangement of HOT PINK roses, purple hydrangeas, and pink cala lilies.
My friend Esther came over that day for a walk around White Rock Lake and showed me a new app - Instagram! It turned a typical arrangement into a really cool photo with an edgy border. LOVE.

I used the leftover pink roses and cala lilies to create a round arrangement in a simple square vase (to keep it modern) for our dining room table. Happy Valentine's Day to Cassie and me!
